New Car

Here is our new car. We have needed a bigger car for a LONG time. I am so tired of having all three kids crammed together squished and touching each other...now noooo more of that!!! We bought this 2004 Durango last night. We had a great experience with Low Book Sales. They were honest and willing to help us out any way that they could. It was nice to have them bring up information on Kelley Blue Book and have them be way under on their pricing. Anyway blah blah blah... new car new car payment no more fighting kids... equals out right?

Stake Conference

This last Sunday was our Stake Conference. We had the privilege of having Elder Jeffery R. Holland come to speak to us. It was so amazing and probably the best meeting I have ever been to. He was so laid back and super funny and yet SOOO spiritually powerful. I left the meeting in tears from the things he said and his conviction. One of the things that stood out the most was when he was saying that he hasn't left his family every single day and missed so many things for a joke, that with every fiber of his being he knew this church was true and that he was a witness of it... I can't begin to say it like he did, all I know is that I was sitting there as he said it and you could feel the Spirit pour out of him. It was a good close to our challenge of reading the Book of Mormon in 40 days. It just added to the spirit you felt as you finished it and prayed about its truth. I look forward to General Conference and the messages we will hear there.

Cooks of the house

As most of you know my little Saedree loves Rachael Ray. She would rather watch her cook than anything else on T.V. With that said she tries to be the cook of the house and will always get her apron on with her little bakers hat everytime I am cooking ANYTHING. Well this time Annistyn wanted to help as well. She comes out with her apron on and LOL LOL LOL a snow hat. It was the cutest thing ever. Here are my two cooks getting ready to help me make Orange Chicken for Sunday dinner. (Notice Saedree's lip... yes that is from the previous dentist story and not from me punching her) Super Cute girls!!

Dentist

Last Saturday we took the kids to the dentist...( yes we had better things to do) Bryson needed to have a filling replaced and have sealants put on his back teeth. Saedree needed one filling and sealants as well. They LOVED LOVED the laughing gas and thought it was the coolest thing ever, they must be like their mother =) They were such troopers and did an amazing job, neither one of them moved. I was so proud of them. We did have an issue the Sunday after though, Saedree's top lip started to swell and swell and the underneath was all white and pussy ...gross! We called and called the dentist but of course it was a Sunday and for some reason they wouldn't answer the EMERGENCY line. John sees the worst of the worst and was freaking out a bit. To make a long story short we talked to the dentist Monday morning and he said that he thinks she just bit the crap out of it and it was now infected, so more antibiotics here we come. She is doing much better thank heavens! We have had the best dental experience ever =P

I wish I would have taken a picture on Sunday, but this is what her lip looks like on Tuesday... so you can imagine. That white spot under her lip is a huge pussy blister ....sorry I know it's so gross but I have to blog about it =) Very attractive picture Sae hahah.

Saedree rocks at bowling!

Last week Saedree was able to go bowling with her preschool class. I wasn't the mother helper for this day so a good friend of mine took some pictures for me! I don't know how she does it but she is AMAZING when it comes to bowling. Nicole said she bowled 3 spares in a row ( granted the bumper pads were up and she used the little ramp... but STILL! You should see her play Wii Bowling, last time we played she beat us all and had the high score of 198. GOOD GRIEF! Here are some cute pictures of her in action.

Saedree and her cute boy friends.

Doesn't surprise me that she chose a pink ball.

Miss DIVA even when she's bowling

Get set GOOOO!

Girls

My mom bought my kids new outfits. Saedree and Anni had matching ones and they looked so cute that I HAD to take a picture. Bryson was at school so we didn't get a picture of him.

Two little hams!!!

St. Patty Day!

St Patrick's Day was kind of fun... I woke up early and made the kids green scrambled eggs, green blueberry muffins with green milk. The kids thought it was cool but disgusting. Saedree asked me if I had poisoned her food... haha! That was about the extent of our celebration.

I love to see the Temple!

On Saturday we had the wonderful opportunity to go with my family and some of John's family to the Draper Temple. It was beautiful!!! I love the feeling you get when you just look at the beauty of the temple inside and out. I noticed something while we were there that kind of put things into perspective for me. I found myself as we were leaving and getting on the bus, being more in awe ... I guess you could say of the sizes of the homes that are around the temple and not necessarily the outside of the temple. That just goes to show that a lot of times we are focused on the worldly things and don't take the time to turn our heads a little bit and notice what matters the most. I was grateful for that experience and for my eyes to be opened just a little more. I hope that makes sense... I'm not the best at putting my feelings to words.
