We celebrated Christmas Eve a day early since John has to work at the Ltach Christmas Eve night. We had ham, funeral potatoes, frog eye, rolls and corn for dinner and enjoyed a program that included the kids singing, playing the piano, a song sung by John, his testimony, watching a Nativity Story and opening up of Jammie made by grandma Linda. It was so nice to have just our little family. We will head to grandma Wendy's tonight for another Christmas Eve party.
Christmas day was nice except for the fact that Annistyn woke us up at 330 and couldn't understand why we wouldn't want to get up yet...yikes.
The kids enjoyed their gifts and seemed happy with everything.
Their big gifts this year
Bryson got Utes Bedding that he has been begging for, a phone and a bunch of smaller things.
Saedree got a guitar with a bunch of clothes and other little things.
Anni got a karaoke machine and a journey girl doll, and a bunch of girly things
Boston got a scooter, a couple video games and a ton of toys

Boston loves to write names
The other day Boston was asking me how to spell names, I wasn't really paying attention because I was trying to get some Christmas things done. When I looked up and saw that he was actually writing them, I was super impressed. Miss Heidi is a great Preschool teacher.

Mom's birthday
For Moms birthday we all went to Texas Roadhouse. It was delicious as usual. It's super cute when Boston and Trace get together, Trace always tackles Boston and tries to kiss him, it's super cute.

Garretts Wedding
Garrett was married in December 18th in the Salt Lake Temple. It was beautiful but very cold. It was nice to be able to go up there while the lights were up and the nativity was displayed. We had some time to walk around before our family dinner at the Joseph Smith building. We took the kids to see the Tabernacle and told them about Grandma Stevens and the many years she sang in the Motab. It was a good way to spend time during the Christmas season.

Dare Graduation
Saedree graduated from the DARE Program at school. It's a program that teaches kids to stay away from drugs, alcohol and stangers. It's nice as a parent to know that programs like this still exist. We can teach our kids about these things in the home, but it's never a bad thing to have them learn it from an officer either.

Dentist
Another dentist visit! The older kids were cavity free, but Boston has two that we knew about ( bad experience at a different dentist...numbed the wrong tooth, drilled anyway, screaming son, pissed off mom) Dr. Briggs was great.
Bryson was great too, just didn't want his picture taken.
