Annistyn's 6th Birthday Party

 Chocolate cake with strawberry pie filling in the middle. Man, this cake for some reason gave me a run for my money. You would think I had never baked a day in my life. I can tell you that it tasted fantastic though. That's what I get for experimenting

I cannot believe that Annistyn is now a 6 year old and will be starting 1st grade in about a week. We threw her a big Princess, pizza dance party.
We started the day off at Seven Peaks Water Park and then came home and prepared for her party. I have to admit this was her first " Friend Party" we had  BLAST. Each of her friends came sporting their best Princess dress, we ate pizza and then danced the night away. She got tons of fun gifts.

This is what I feel like trying to potty train my last child....UGH! All the rest of my kids were a piece of cake. Bryson was potty trained at 2 years and 2 months, both of the girls were potty trained at 18 months and all were super easy because they all hated being "wet". Yeah well this kid is going to make me nuts. For example the other day we put big boy pants on him with light blue shorts on top about 30 mins later he CLEARLY peed his pants. I asked him " Boston are you wet" his reply "NOPE" I said " Did you go potty in your pants" and very confidently he said "NOPE" I said then how come your pants are wet? He looked down at his pants spread his legs out and looked up at me and said "OH" lol. He doesn't care if he's wet he doesn't care if we let him sit in his poop for a little while. I ask him if he needs to go and he yells no and runs away. It has been really hard this time around because I'm not home 24/7 to make sure he is taken potty I have to rely on my kids to do it. When I get home from school and ask the kids how he did on the potty they tell me he did great, to that I ask how many times they took him potty and their response...Ummm welll we kind of forgot. I am going to need all the prayers, hope and faith to get this kid out of diapers. HEAVEN HELP US ALL!

We had such a fun time at the zoo with our bestest friends. We really loved seeing the new polar bear exhibit and watching him swim around and around. It was a hot day so we don't blame him at all for wanting to swim.

Cul-De-Sac of Fire

For the 24th of July we had a neighborhood party. We invited a bunch of our neighbors and ward members over for a BBQ and Fireworks. It was fun to hang out with everyone

We had an AWESOME turn out and cannot wait until our next party.

Goof Ball

This kid is such a goof ball. He makes us laugh constantly.

Flag Retirement

We attended the flag retirement during Fiesta Days in Spanish Fork. This is the time that they retire the huge Macey's flag and any other flag that is tattered and torn. Such a cool event.

Lacaille

John was in a huge convention for work and when he graduated they took everyone out for dinner to the Lacaille. It is one of the most FANCY restaurants I have ever been too, in fact it was a little too fancy for my liking. I would rather go to Texas Roadhouse and throw peanuts on the floor than to figure out which fork I'm suppose to use for each plate. I do have to say the grounds were BEAUTIFUL!!! I am so glad we got to have this once in a life time opportunity.
