Dare Graduation

Saedree graduated from the DARE Program at school. It's a program that teaches kids to stay away from drugs, alcohol and stangers. It's nice as a parent to know that programs like this still exist. We can teach our kids about these things in the home, but it's never a bad thing to have them learn it from an officer either.

Dentist

Another dentist visit! The older kids were cavity free, but Boston has two that we knew about ( bad experience at a different dentist...numbed the wrong tooth, drilled anyway, screaming son, pissed off mom) Dr. Briggs was great.

Bryson was great too, just didn't want his picture taken.

Scope

John has been having a lot of pain in his esophagus and upper chest. He finally decided it was time to have things checked out. He wasn't too fond of the idea, just because he has never had to have any medical procedures done. I have to admit after 4 babies, a hysterectomy and two knee surgeries I was more that happy to be on the opposite side of things. The scope went really well and he ended up LOVING the knock out drug :)
They took a bunch of biopsies and we are just waiting to hear back from the lab about the results.

Holiday Fun

It's always fun having family come to town during the holidays. This year we were super excited to hear that Natalie, Jimmy and Carly were coming up from California. We have had a lot of fun.

Thanksgiving 2014

This year was awesome!  We had 42 people show up for dinner. We were suppose to have about 60, but two families ended up not making it. Tauni and Julius chose a sucky time to get the flu. It was fun seeing family we haven't seen in years.

Bowling

For Johns birthday, we decided to take the kids bowling. Boston is such a competitive soul! If he didn't get a strike he would FLIP out and say "I wanna win....ugh" haha. This kid! Bowling was fun, but not something we will do frequently.

Holy Moly

So I finally remembered my blogger username and password, only to realize I am TWO years behind...yikes. Well if I look back, I feel overwhelmed so I will just face forward and try to stay caught up, no promises :)
