Saedree's baptism

What a special day. We had a lot of family and friends that showed up to support Saedree. It was a very spiritual day. Saedree was a little nervous but did just fine. Grandpa Riley gave a wonderful talk on Baptism, Bryson did an amazing job writing his own talk on the Holy Ghost, John and Saedree then sang together and it was very tender and sweet, we finished off by Annistyn saying the closing prayer. It was perfect. We are so proud of Saedree for choosing to be baptized.

We had such a fun Halloween. We went to grandma and grandpa's house to trick or treat. The weather was beautiful. Boston wasn't loving the whole dress up part, so he stayed home with Pa Jim. The other kids ran from house to house collecting a ton of candy. The sweet little Killian family was so grateful to see the kids and the Stone family never disappoints, they had their house decked out with a Harry Potter village it was so great. I can't believe another Halloween has come and gone. Till next year...

On our way home from Heber we decided to take a drive to Cascade Springs. I use to go up there all the time as a kid, I wanted to show my kids what it is all about. We had a super fun time and the canyon was incredible. The leaves on the trees were such an amazing color. I am glad I had the chance to spend the day up there with my family.

We wanted to get away for a day, so we headed up to good ole Heber City =) We stayed in a Holiday Inn Express for the night. We had such a great time swimming, playing in the big tub, eating take out on the floor of our hotel and watching movies. It was nice to get away from everything even if it was just for a night.

First year playing flag football and I think he found what he loves. He is the QB for his team and does really well. He has caught a couple of interceptions and pulled flags of some really fast players. It's so fun to watch him, he's on fire. It also makes it fun because he has the same coach he did for baseball. We get along so well with their family and have a blast at the games together. GOOOO Chargers!

Annistyn started playing soccer this year. She informed me that she only plays because they have treats lol. We have had a full schedule of sports this year trying to juggle 2 in soccer and Bryson in Flag football ( pics to come). It's been crazy but fun.

We have found that this is a good spot for B. He is such a runner and is into everything. I figure "Hey if I can keep him here he will stay out of trouble" LOL! We love this little guy. He has now figured out that he can go up and down the stairs without any help. He loves being outside and will bolt for the door every time it opens. He is addicted to any ball. I'm pretty sure he will be involved in any sport that has a ball =) He already kicks and dibbles the soccer ball better than the 2nd grade girls, he loves to HIKE the ball and run for it, and he throws like a champ. He is a very very active little man.

Okay so remember me saying that I was not good at taking pictures...well here's another example of that....Bryson's big double digit birthday and not a single picture to show. Well I guess I will tell you about it =)

We ended up going to Texas Roadhouse for dinner ( he was worried sick the whole time that they would sing to him and he would have to sit on the saddle) Guess what, they did =) He was a good sport, but the kid does not like to be embarrassed.

We then went out to Lehi to Trafalga. We had a great time riding bumper boats, playing laser tag, mini golf and riding the hopper ride. Thanks Tauni and Jayden for going with us =)

I am turning into a horrible mom who forgets to take pictures of big events...ugh. So Annistyn turned 5 a few days ago...no pictures of her party lol. For her birthday she wanted to go to Seven Peaks and Los Hermanos...or in other words the place with the chips and salsa. We had such a fun couple of days. I cannot believe little Anni is off to kindergarten...happy 5th birthday baby girl.

Every year my dad's side of the family does their family reunion at Bear Lake, they have done it for 40 something years. This year was another great year, different but great. The storm's that rolled in were intense. We had to drop our tent 3 times because at one point the winds were so strong it was bending the poles. Luckily my parents had a huge trailer that would fit us all comfortably. We ended up staying for 5 days, which was a record for us. We had a great time and look forward to next year.

These pictures are a little out of order but nonetheless we had a FANTASTIC day! We started off by heading to the Hogle Zoo. It was a very warm day, but it was a lot of fun. He especially loved the Monkey's. After the Zoo we headed over to North Park in Spanish Fork. We ate dinner there with family, played on the playground, played in the water and even had a small game of baseball. Boston loved playing in the water, it was so cute to just sit and watch him. It was a very fun first birthday!!! Happy Birthday B!

This year the Riley Reunion was help up AF Canyon at Little Mill campground. The kids had a blast climbing rocks, playing with cousins and going up to Timp Cave. Bryson and I really were there, but for some reason we didn't get pictures of us.

This year Anni attended preschool at Pockets of Sunshine. I was so lucky to find out that a friend from High School started this cute little preschool, she did such an amazing job and Anni loved her so much. They did super fun field trips, crazy dancing (as Anni would say), learned lots of new words and a lot more. Thank you Ms. Laura for a job well done!!!!!

This year for Easter my kids weren't feeling too great, they all had hacking coughs. We missed out on all the Easter egg hunts. We did however decorate eggs and did our own little hunt at grandma's. The Easter bunny brought some super cute church clothes and lots of yummy candy for the kids on Saturday. It was so great to have him come on Saturday so that we could focus on what really mattered on Sunday. It was also helpful because that dang Easter Bunny brought the wrong size shoes for Anni so I was able to exchange them on Sat =)

Annistyn's Surgery

Lets see if you can tell which picture were taken before surgery and after lol! YAY! is all I can say. We finally got Anni's tonsils out. She had strep about 6 times last year and could barely talk because they were so big. I guess the doctor scores the size from 1 to a 4 and hers were a 3. She was also snoring like an old grandpa =) it was just time. She did so great. We were a little worried because 2 days before surgery she woke up with a fever ( of all times) they said they wouldn't do it unless the fever was gone. We took her into the doctor to find out if it was strep again and it was just some virus. John gave her a blessing and the morning of the surgery she was fever free...what a relief. She did amazing before the surgery and was such a brave little girl. After the surgery was a different story. The surgery only lasted about 20 minutes. John and I were shocked at how fast they came to get us. She came back with a seal like cough ( it sounded so nasty and painful...poor girl) We had to stay a couple extra hours to make sure she was okay. She didn't handle the medicine well and threw up a few times. We felt so bad for her. It was a long 2 weeks of recovery. She would wake up at least 3 times a night screaming in pain. It was a FULL 14 days before she was better. We are so grateful for the doctors and nurses that took such great care of her, those nurses include daddy and grandma =) so luck to have them.

Bryson earned his Wolf badge, 4 beads and 2 arrows at Scouts. He has worked so hard and we are way proud of him. He is such a great kid, always willing to help out and takes such good care of his younger sibs. We love you B-Dog!!! Way to go!

March 10th was the day! It was touch and go there for awhile. Anni woke up two days before surgery with a fever and headache. OF ALL THE TIMES TO GET A FEVER....TWO DAYS BEFORE SURGERY...REALLY! We prayed and prayed for this sweet girl to get better. The day of surgery she woke up fever free =) YAY! We had to be at the hospital at 8:30. I told her she had to make sure she didn't eat anything or drink anything until after surgery...this is how our conversation went: Anni: So I can eat ice cream Me: Yes, you can have ice cream, pudding, jello, shakes and anything that is soft Anni: Can I have pizza rolls? Me: Not right after surgery Anni: I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO EAT PIZZA ROLLS AGAIN??? Me: LOL you will be able to eat them just not right after your surgery. Anni: What if I want to eat meat? Me: Well...you will have to wait for a little while. LOL she was not too thrilled. I thought it was super cute. We got her all checked in at the hospital. The nurse came in and gave her the happy drug LOL it made her relax and somewhat crazy =) she was loopy. It wasn't long after that they took her back ( sooo sad to see my baby girl be wheeled away :( They told John and I to wait out in the waiting room and the doctor would be out after the surgery to talk to us. The surgery was super quick. In fact I ran out to the car to get something for my sister in law who happened to be in the hospital after having her twins, took it up to her room...came back and they were calling us back because she was done. We thought something was wrong because the nurse came out somewhat frazzled trying to find us and get us into the right room. John just looked at me and said " Something is wrong" Yeah that freaked me out a bit. It wasn't two seconds later that the doctor came in and said the surgery went very smooth. *HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF* She was wheeled back sooo out of it and coughing like a seal =( Her lungs sounded tight and it scared us a bit. Her oxygen level was between 87 and 88 ( It's suppose to be in the high 90's) We just knew with our luck and everything that has happened in the last few months that they would admit her. Luckily the Respiratory Therapist came down and gave her a breathing treatment, which helped boost her levels. It took her a couple of hours to snap out of it.
Here it is 4 days out of it and the poor girl is having a rough time. She doesn't want to eat anything because it hurts so bad. She just lays around, not moving much and watching movies. I feel so bad for her. Hopefully this will all be over soon and she will be feeling much better with no more cases of strep =)

After surgery...Her IV was under the red wrap. I was so grateful they didn't put the IV in until after she was asleep.

These pictures were taken after he started feeling better. I totally forgot I had my camera with us. Read the previous post to find out how we got here! We got here on the 19th of Feb and today is the 21st. He had a rough first couple of days but he is doing soooo much better. We have had some of the best nurses ( Dennis and Ruben) with Jana charging. My mom worked on the PEDS unit for many many years and we have some dear friends up here. So much so that they kept us in a room by ourselves while everyone else on the floor had to share rooms. Man it pays to know people. Boston gave all those that entered his room a wrestling match. He is super strong and hard to hold down with you have to suction or give treatments. Dennis finally admitted that Boston won each match. Dennis spoiled this little guy so much by giving him a stuffed Mickey Mouse, Toy cube, blanket and two hats which you will see in the photos...I don't think Boston was too fond of them, but they were soooo cute. Thank you to the AMAZING staff on PEDS for taking such great care of us. We love you!!! During the few days that we were here I think they admitted most the kids in Utah County. They are stuffed full with 24 plus patients. I am hoping that we will get to go home today! I am so thankful for all the concern and prayers that were said during this time. Thank you we truly feel soo blessed.

He was such a crazy little guy. He would jump up and down on his bed, walk around it holding on to the rails and throw things out of it. ( When he was feeling better anyway) He has been a real trooper. SOOO GLAD he is feeling better.

Wedding Catering

My best friend asked if I would help her out in catering a wedding luncheon on the 19th of February. I was more than thrilled to help her out since 1. I LOVE to cook and 2. She is a blast to work with. It was a really fun experience...but let me just explain my day that day....

So the morning started off with me waking up to finish cooking the chicken and pasta that we were serving that afternoon. Boston had been sick for a few days before that with a raspy cough and some wheezing. We were a little worried about him just because we could tell he wasn't feeling well and wasn't eating well. I decided that I would hurry and finish getting things together and I would run him to the Insta care in Springville on my way to my moms. I get there check him in and watch the clock. I was suppose to be at the church by 10:30, it is now 9:05. They call us back and got his weight and temp. They hooked him up to the SAT monitor....dun dun dun...it reads 86 now for those of you who aren't familiar with medical stuff, normal SAT or oxygen levels in the body should be in the high 90's. They looked at me and said " I'm sorry we cannot help him here. You will have to take him to the ER" Oh let me tell you how thrilled I was about that. So here it is 9:30 and I'm pulling into the ER. Luckily it was really slow. They got us checked in, and back into a room. By the time they did all the vitals and we talked to the doc who ordered suction and a chest X-ray it was 10:15. I just kept thinking....whyyyy of all days why today. My mom was nice enough to come down and take over since John worked the night before and was sleeping. She stayed with him while I went to the church. We got there and started throwing things together. I was such a scatter brain the whole time, but it turned out great. Half way through the luncheon my mom called to let me know that they were admitting him for RSV. I then called John and woke him up at 12:30 to let him know that I had taken Boston in and they were now admitting him. He was somewhat shocked since the last thing I told him before he went to bed was that I was just taking him to the Insta care. He then hurried down to be with B. We finished the luncheon with applause and very positive comments and even people asking for our numbers. They were a little shocked to find out that we didn't work for a company and that it was just the two of us. WE ROCKED IT! We served Minestrone Soup, Alfredo with Chicken, Green salad with a homemade creamy Italian dressing and bread sticks. SUCCESS! Right after I rushed down to the hospital to be with my ever sick baby! Thank you Becky for the opportunity to work with you. It was a blast and hopefully next time I won't have such a crazy day!

Bryson's Play

A few days ago we were invited up to the school to see a play that the 4th grade class has been working on. It was so fun to see these kids act out their parts with emotion, and to have all their parts memorized. As you can tell Bryson is less than thrilled that I am sitting on the front row taking pictures of him...hahah! He played the narrator. I love that his school has sooo many wonderful activities and classes that they can participate in.

Boston 7 months

I realized that I am ending up taking more pictures of food than of my kids. Boston is now 7 months old. He is crawling EVERYWHERE!!!! He even pulls himself up on things. He will be in his bed crying and when I walk in I find him at the end of his bed standing up trying to figure out how to sit down. He is so stinking smart and is already making us run this way and that. We had to baby proof the house already. He loves to turn on the surround sound even though it scares the crap out of him. When we tell him not to do something he will look at us and smile, when we go to get him away from it he crawls away super fast. I have a feeling he's going to be the hardest kid yet =) We love him to pieces.

Science Fair

This is Bryson's first year doing the Science Fair. He did it with his buddies Dallin and Parker. Their project was all about testing what material would hold the most marbles. The boys did a great job. We told them that if this was something they wanted to do then it was up to them to get it done. They did it all with very little help. Good Job Boys!

Christmas 2010

I know I didn't get a whole lot of pictures, I'm getting bad in my old age haha! We had a fabulous Christmas EVE spent at my grandpa's house with my siblings and parents. We talked about our favorite Christmas memory, ate food and exchanged gifts. Christmas day was also spent at grandpa's with aunts, uncles and cousins. We had a super yummy turkey and ham dinner. This year we didn't have a whole lot of money to go crazy so we decided that we would do something different and collect coats for the homeless families in Salt Lake. It was amazing the response we got. I love doing service for those who have a lot less than we do. It made us a lot more thankful for the things we do have. We are praying for a good 2011!

Our little Boston boy got sooo sick. As you can tell he got a nasty eye infection with a little case of RSV. I am so glad that it wasn't any worse. He was on oral antibiotics, breathing treatments and eye drops. Poor baby!!! Thank heavens for medicine he was on the mend super quick.

Anni was able to go to the Red Barn for her field trip this month with her preschool. She had a blast and got really good at posing for pictures. The Red Barn was really fun. They had super yummy donut's and cookies. They had lots more there but those are the two things we tried. They had all sorts of jams, syrups, ice cream, frozen berries, apples and more. It will for sure be a place we go every year.

Since I don't keep a very good "Journal" I am going to start writing more on our blog.
September 21st was the day I went in for my hyster. A lot of people would say that to have that done before I was even 30 is crazy. Well for those of you that don't know I have suffered from endometriosis since I was 15. The doctors didn't think I would be able to have kids, but as we all know I proved them wrong and I think a lot of that is because we starting having kids while I was still pretty young... well by young I mean I was 20 when I had Bryson. I have had a miscarriage in between all of my kids which means I have been prego 7 times. After having Boston we knew our little family was complete ( 2 boys 2 girls...score is tied) we couldn't ask for more. I was done with the severe pain I would have during ovulation and my menstrual cycle. I meet with Dr. Scott Rees (who I might add is truly amazing) We talked about my options all of which could help things out but would all eventually lead to a hyster. So with that we decided that it was time to get the dang thing out. I went in at 9:30 got more blood drawn and got checked in. The two older kids were at school and John had Annistyn and Boston out in the waiting room. They called me back, tried 6 times to get an IV in my arms, hands, wrists you name it they tried it ..ouch!!! I then went back into the holding room where Dr. Thayne Wilson ( he use to be in my ward so it was nice to recognize a face) talked to me about what he would do and kind of how I would feel. After I signed the consent they wheeled me on back into the surgical room where they injected my I.V with something I felt a little tingly but I was able to move myself onto the surgical bed. At that time he put a little mask on my face and BOOOOOM all I remember is the nurses telling me it was time to wake up. I have never been in such a deep deep sleep. It felt soooo good just to lay there and be so out of it, little did I know I would be very very nauseated afterwards. The doctor said the surgery went very well. He said there was a TON of scare tissue from the endometriosis and that because of the endo my uterus had attached itself to my bladder. I am so grateful we decided to remove the uterus I would hate to think what it would have done many more years down the road. The stay in the hospital was just over night. I was so sick to my stomach and dizzy that whole night I thought I was going to die. They stood me up to walk just to see if that would help... well it kind of did, I puked my guts out lol I'm sure you all wanted to know that but I want it for my records =) Poor Saedree started to cry when she saw me for the first time. I was so out of it with oxygen on and looking mighty fine I'm sure. I had to hurry and take the oxygen off and try and come too enough for her to know I was okay. I am writing this still on drugs so if it doesn't make much sense that's why. All I can say now is that I am 1. So glad it's over and 2. I couldn't have done it without my sweet husband and wonderful mom who are my two personal nurses that kick my butt and have held my hand and made things seem much better through this whole process THANK YOU . My sweet husband even did the girls hair and got the kids out the door for school the next day... he's my hero. I couldn't do it without you!!! NOW ON TO RECOVERY in hopes that life is much brighter and a lot less painful!

When I took the kids to "Back to School Night" Bryson was so excited to show me his artwork that was hanging in the halls at the school. I had no idea that it was this cool. He always has stuff in the halls that his class has done, but never has he had his work framed and put in the hall like this was. It was SOOO neat to see this! Good job buddy

The New North Park

This is the new park in Spanish Fork. It is sooo awesome. The kids had a blast. They even have water spouts that are pretty cool. Good job park builders =) This was the grand opening that happened a few Saturday's ago so it was crazy busy but fun.

I can't believe I have 3 kids in school this year...YAY! Bryson just started 4th, Saedree is in 1st and Annistyn started preschool. It's so weird just having the baby at home 3 days a week. Although the kids are super helpful to me it's really nice having them in school too ;) Again Bryson was very clear that he didn't want me to take pictures when we were at the school so I didn't. We did do the "Bus Stop Breakfast" again this year and it turned out awesome. Thanks mommies of the cute school kids for helping.

Boston's Blessing

Wow the pictures are wayyy out of order, but I'm not reloading them =). Today was Boston's baby blessing. We decided to bless Boston on the same day as Allen and Shandi Crow blessed their sweet baby boy Bently. We had a brunch in the park together after Sacrament meeting. We had chicken salad croissants, eclaires (sp?), muffins and lots of fruit. It was a lot of fun to have both families together. It was such a beautiful day and John did a fabulous job on the blessing. I am so thankful for the Priesthood in our home.

Anni's fourth birthday

I cannot believe my little Anni is now 4 years old. Time seriously flies. For her fourth birthday she wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese. I find it kind of funny that when I was young I always went there for my birthdays, now as a parent I know how ridiculously over priced and cheesy it is but she had fun. My family went with us and had a great time trying to earn tickets to get Anni something big. They ended up getting about 1200+ tickets and she picked out a pink ball and cotton candy. She is such a spoiled one =). After Chuck E. Cheese we went back to grandma and Pa Jim's to have cake and ice cream and play a little family basketball. We had a great time...until next year!

Well we really didn't plan for bangs...Saedree tried to curl her hair with a comb. She wrapped her hair soooo tight around the teeth of the comb, and of course it got stuck. It took me about 45 minutes to try and untangle her hair but it didn't work. I had to cut it out, and thank heavens it wasn't a bigger chunk of hair. After I cut it she went to look in the mirror and just cried saying "I look so stupid" I think she is now getting used to it and is actually starting to like it.

Fourth of July

Some would call me crazy and some did...but yes that is me at the 4th of July festivities a week after I had a C-Section, but what you don't understand is that it's the first fourth that my husband has had off in 6 years. We went to the balloon launch on Friday only to not have them launch (I was a bit mad to get the kids up at the butt crack of dawn and not even have them get up in the air) it was still fun to see the balloons and spend the morning watching the sunrise. We went to the Stadium of Fire fireworks on Saturday night and to the Parade on Monday with a BBQ after the parade. It was a very long weekend with different things on different days. I was a bit worn out by the time the weekend was over but it was fun to spend the holiday with my hubby!

Boston on the Billi Lights

Boston's billirubenn (sp?) levels were 15 when we left the hospital. We had to have home health bring by a little blanket that had to stay on him 24/7. He ended up having to have it on for 6 days. It was sooo hard holding him with it since there was a huge cord and a big paddle that had to be on his back and snapped in with a onesie. I am so grateful he is off it and I can cuddle him like a normal baby. He didn't seem to mind it.

I uploaded these pictures a little out of order . Here is the Boston John baby story =)
At 37 weeks found out that our little Boston was a breech baby. I was then sent over to the Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic a few days later to see if it was possible to turn him the right direction. They did an ultrasound which was so amazing to see at 37 weeks. We could see his little face which looked 3D and even his hair swishing back and forth to my heartbeat ( that was really cool to see) They decided that since the fluid levels were low and because his head was against the placenta that it just wouldn't be possible to turn him. Now our only option was a C-Section..yikes! I was a little terrified of a c-section but knew it was the best thing for me and our little guy. So they sent us home and told us that we needed to come back a week or so later for the C-Section. Well that wasn't really what Boston had planned. It was the morning of the 23rd that I woke up because I felt some contractions. I decided that I was going to wait a little while to see what was going to happen. I climbed back in bed hoping that I could just sleep it off hahahah when that didn't work I thought I would just walk around the house and see if I could get rid of them. The contractions were getting more often but not increasing in intensity. I debated if I should wake John but decided that I didn't want this little guy coming out feet first. He woke up and asked me what I wanted to do and I felt bad waking him and the kids if these were just false contractions. To make a long story short we decided it was best to head to the hospital. The unfortunate thing was that our road was closed to do re pavement so our car was parked a block away ( go figure). John ran to get the car...moved the cones...and pulled into the driveway ( good thing the road was dry by then) I grabbed my bags and he grabbed the kids...the first thing Saedree said when we put her in the car at 230 am was " wow there are stars" lol. my mom met us at the hospital and took the kids to her house to sleep. We got checked in and were told that they were going to monitor me for an hour to make sure that the contractions were real and that I didn't just have a bladder infections...hhahah I wanted to punch them in the face. There we sat for an hour with contractions hoping and praying that they were not going to send me home with pain meds. After an hour I in fact dilated to a 3 and was 90percent effaced. As soon as they saw I was making progress the whirl wind hit. The epidural was placed, IV in and I was on the OR table within an hour. The C-Section went fine and baby came out screaming...and screaming....and screaming He ended up being 7lbs 12oz and 18.5 inces long. Everything went well and I was off to recovery. Little did I know it was going to be a difficult road. I was sooo sooo sooo sick and itchy that night, I even tried to throw up a few times and decided that was wayyy to painful. It was not much fun at all. But our sweet boy was here safe and sound so it is alll worth it. Here it is day 7 and I have come along way but still don't feel half human yet. I need to learn to be patient with myself and just relax and let myself heal.

It's finally warm enough to have some fun! Bryson and Annistyn were making sand castles in grandmas sandbox. I don't know if Anni got more sand in the sandbox or on her face. Grandpa joked that we should plant seeds in those dirt chunks on her face. Needless to say they had a blast.

Sae Mae's Kindergarten Graduation

Our little Miss Sassy Lashes is now a Kindergarten Grad!!! I cannot believe she is going into 1st grade soon. She is sooo ready to be there though. The girl is at a 2nd grade reading level and throughout all of kindergarten got 100 percent on everything. We are so proud of her and cant wait to see her grow more and more each year. Baseball Season

It's that time of year again!!!! Yep you guessed it BASEBALL! This is Bryson's first year in the Mustang League. It has been such crazy weather it goes from super cold and snowing to really really hot...ugh! He is doing great. He normally plays 3rd base but has just recently starting pitching. He is still trying to get the hang of it, but the last game he pitched he did an amazing job. He is so fun to watch play. He has walked all but one time and since he was nailed in the shoulder in the beginning of the season he tends to be just a little scared of the ball. He is getting much better though. GO BLUEJAYS

Rees Fitness Day

It has been sooo long since I have blogged...just lazy I guess. Here is Bryson and Saedree running the kids 1 mile race at school. They did really well. Bryson got 6th overall and Sae bless her heart was being helped by dear old daddy so she would finish. We also decided to take the kids to the zoo for Spring Break. It was a little chilly but it was nice to get outside. Annistyn loved the monkeys, Saedree was in love with the giraffe's and Bryson well he loved it all. The little baby elephant was the cutest thing ever.

We found out today that we are having a baby BOY!!! We couldn't be more thrilled. As Bryson came in from school and learned of the news he threw is backpack in the air and yelled WOOOHOOO I get a brother... it was so cute to see his reaction. The name that we are pretty sure about is Boston John Riley. Again we are so excited and can't wait till we can hold the little one in our arms.

For Christmas my parents gave us Jazz tickets. We were lucky enough to go when they were honoring Hot Rod Hundley, It was really cool. We had a blast with my brother and sister-in-law (soon to be) and the best part... is they won =) GO JAZZ!

For Annistyn's Joy School we decided it would be fun to take the kids to the Bean Museum at BYU. We scheduled to have a live show done with the reptiles. The guy who did it was AWESOME. He was so animated and fun to watch. The kids loved touching the real lizard, turtle and snake, I just watched from behind...yuck!

Ice Castle's at the Zermontt in Midway

These castle's are so cool. They have little sprinkler heads at the top that are always running so that when the water falls it just freezes. It's really amazing to see. If you get a chance its worth going up to see them.

New Years Eve in Midway

New Years Eve my cousin Janae was able to get the Midway Rec Center for us. It was awesome. There was 3 rooms that we used, one for the food and adults the other for the kids and the Wii and the other was like a huge empty Costco with a couple of basketball hoops. We played speed and P.I.G while the little kids played musical chairs and danced around and around. We left about 11 to go and watch the Dick Clark count down on t.v at the condo. It was a fun evening.

Saedree's first time ice skating...more fun in Midway

While the boys went sledding again, we decided to take the girls ice skating. Saedree had never been and really wanted to go. I didn't feel great about ice skating since all I needed to do was fall when I have a bad knee and prego. So my cousin Bracken and Tauni my sister said they would help Sae Mae. It was so cute to watch her. Right before it was time to leave she was actually doing it by herself. It was soooo cold but she was such a trooper.
